Ummul-Kiram Kathawalla

Doctoral Student, Counseling Psychology

Ummul received her B.S. in Human Development and Psychology Services with a minor in Global Health from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Her research program focuses on understanding how factors, specifically interpersonal relationships and societal context, influence minority adolescent identity development. She is particularly interested in how adolescence identity formation contributes to the development and persistence of psychological conditions and overall well-being.
